Everyone! I want you to meet a very special friend of mine! Her name is Mackenzie and this is a "day in the life" of a 2 year old!
This is where she was giving me her fake smile and still pretty unsure of who I was:
This is where she warmed up to me and said "I don't care who you are, I'm having fun with my bubbles!" (Ok, not really what she SAID, but what I think is going through her mind!)
Then she was like "Hey Abby! Let's have a tea party!"
Playtime with mommy!
I was a little obsessed with her curly hair…it's ADORABLE!
The many faces of Mackenzie!
And there you have it! That's what can happen in 1 hour with a sweet little girl!

Jeff contacted me over the summer about 2 weeks before he was about to propose to his girlfriend, Stephanie, and asked if I would be interested in photographing their proposal. Are you kidding me?! This is the stuff I live for! Being able to provide people with those kinds of memories never gets old! So I met up with Jeff about a week before and walked the canal in downtown Indianapolis, to find the perfect place to propose. We had the place all picked out and I got there about 20 minutes before they would so I could get in my spot and be ready (might I note that I was also really nervous...I don't know why, it's not like I was proposing to anyone! LOL). I saw Jeff and Stephanie walking towards me on the canal and WAY before he was supposed to, Jeff got down on one knee and asked Stephanie to be his wife :) Now, I only let you in on this little secret that it was way before he was supposed to because:
1. I still got the shot (whew!)
2. It just illustrates how ready Jeff was to ask Stephanie to be his wife. I just think it's so cute that he couldn't wait until the planned spot!
So I met up with them after the proposal, both still a little shaky (for anyone who hasn't been proposed to before...it's like an out of body experience - the best kind, of course!) and did a few quick pictures before they were whisked off to have dinner with their families and celebrate! I am so excited for their future together - it's going to be a bright one! Thank you SO much for letting me be a part of this beautiful moment in your lives!

As you know, we went to Curaçao for our honeymoon and LOVED every second of it! Being that the weather is the way that it is right now, I think I look back on that trip even more fondly, and certainly wish that we could be back there right now!
As I mentioned in the last blog about Curaçao we took a trip to an island called Klein Curaçao for a full day. It was such a great trip…taken by catamaran, hanging out on the beach, checking out an abandoned (yet still working) lighthouse, exploring the 4 shipwrecks on the island, swimming with turtles, eating delicious food that the crew made for us (the crew, by the way spoke 4 languages!), and seeing some snakes and octopus while snorkeling! It sure was a great trip that I can't recommend enough!
From the moment I looked up this venue on the internet, I knew this would be a beautiful wedding! Quailcrest Farms is kind of in the middle of nowhere in Ohio, but so worth the drive! The location was gorgeous...amazing grounds for tons of places to take pictures, and a beautiful couple to take pictures of! Avan looked incredible and the way that Dustin looked at her was how every bride wants their groom to look at them!
It was a crazy sunny day (as in, not a cloud in the sky type day...except for those little ones that don't ever cover the sun!), but the weather was perfect! For their first dance as husband and wife, Avan's father and brother sang (live!) , and it was just the sweetest...here's wishing you two a lifetime of happiness!
While all the photos shown are my own, I'd like to thank Lindsay Call Photography for having me along for this fabulous wedding!

To begin to describe this wedding is so hard for me! There was so much beauty and so much love - amazing floral arrangements every way you turned by Jewlies, gorgeous DIY table adornments that were pieces from family and friends, a handmade arch made by her father (it ended up raining and they didn't get married under it, but it was INSANELY gorgeous!), and a ring blessing ceremony by their closest family and friends. It was a day to remember! Sure, things didn't go exactly as planned, but it was so gorgeous and I can't believe this all came together in a short 4 months!
Also, keep a look out for the awesome father daughter dance - They danced to Funky Cold Medina by Tone Loc and it was hilarious!
Kena & Eric, you bring happiness to any room you are in! Thank you SO so much for letting me capture your story, it sure was a beautiful one! Here's to a lifetime of happiness and great memories!
One of me with the fabulous bride!
